 Using PhonePe on your smartphone is quite simple. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started:

1. Install the PhonePe App

• Go to the Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iPhone).
• Search for "PhonePe" and install the app.

2. Sign Up or Log In

• Open the app after installation.
• You’ll be prompted to sign in or create a new account.
  • If you're new, you’ll need to register using your mobile number (linked to your bank account).
  • If you're already a user, just log in with your mobile number and OTP (One-Time Password).

3. Link Your Bank Account

• After signing in, you'll need to link your bank account to PhonePe.
  • Go to the "My Account" or Profile section.
  • Select Bank Account and choose your bank.
  • Link the account using your UPI ID (Unified Payments Interface). You’ll be asked to create or use an existing UPI ID (usually in the format of your phone number).

4. Set Up a Payment Method

• If you haven’t already, set up a payment method.
  • You can link your Debit/Credit card or choose from other wallets like PhonePe wallet.
  • You may also choose to set up a UPI PIN (4 or 6-digit PIN) for authorizing payments.

5. Making Payments

• To make payments, there are multiple options:
  • To pay via UPI:
    • Tap on "Pay" on the homepage.
    • Enter the recipient's UPI ID, mobile number, or select from a list of merchants or friends.
    • Enter the amount and confirm the payment by entering your UPI PIN.
  • Scan QR Code:
    • On the home screen, tap on "Scan & Pay".
    • Use the camera to scan the recipient’s QR code to make payments instantly.

6. Recharge and Bill Payments

• To do mobile recharges, utility bill payments, etc.:
  • Go to the "Recharge & Pay Bills" section on the homepage.
  • Select the category (Mobile, DTH, Electricity, etc.).
  • Enter the required details and confirm the payment.

7. Transferring Money

• To transfer money to someone:
  • Go to "My Money" > "Send Money".
  • Enter the amount and the recipient’s UPI ID or mobile number.
  • You can also send money to your bank account if you need to.

8. Earn Cashback and Rewards

• PhonePe often offers cashback and rewards for certain transactions. You can check the "Offers" section to see what’s available.

9. Security Features

• PhonePe uses Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for security, and you should set up an UPI PIN for making transactions.

10. Support and Help
